This is the first trainer that has the same weight and feels like a dead bird. It has a soft urethane body with a non-palatable head and feet to encourage proper carry and discourage hard mouthing. The free-swinging head discourages dogs from shaking birds during the retrieve. The foam body will hold scent, and many trainers inject or squirt our training scent onto the Dead Fowl Trainers to add realism.
